2. What materials can be etched?
We are capable of etching on natural stones such as granite, marble, slate, and travertine. Dynamic Laser also has the ability to etch on materials such as glass, acrylic, tile, and wood veneers.
As with most custom work, prices vary depending on several factors - size of the finished work, materials,
the design & computer time and whether the piece is coloured.
As an example, let's pick a pet portrait, 12"x12" on
3/8" granite tile with up to 20 words. You have a
photograph or a ditital picture, we scan it and ajust
it for etching, add the words in the font you want and etch the tile. After etching, we clean and seal the tile.
This job would be $150. plus tax, add 25% to 35%
if you want it coloured.
